I recently completed this portrait of my half- brother Ned McDougall. It is painted at his home in Temple Cloud. As he is fond of dressing up and a collector of uniforms, I suggested he wore his ceremonial army attire.

The theme was endangered or particular flora and fauna of the south-west, so, having a soft spot for Cornwall and the North coast, I decided to do a windswept Cornish tree.

I recently visited the Occupy London camp outside St Paul's Cathedral. This is a painting I have made in response. I am going to enter it into the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. I have also been commissioned to paint another picture of the site so watch out for more to come.
