I recently completed this portrait of my half- brother Ned McDougall. It is painted at his home in Temple Cloud. As he is fond of dressing up and a collector of uniforms, I suggested he wore his ceremonial army attire.
 Just finished three paintings of Brighton to enter into the application for the Brighton Art Fair.  This new series is inspired by the recent decommissioning of the NASA Space Shuttle. The series explores themes of the fragility of human endeavor and creation, gender roles and preoccupations and international relations. This piece is inspired by 1960's and 1970's sci-fi and fantasy illustration, a predominantly male pursuit.  This is your new blog post.
