This new series is inspired by the recent decommissioning of the NASA Space Shuttle. The series explores themes of the fragility of human endeavor and creation, gender roles and preoccupations and international relations. This piece is inspired by 1960's and 1970's sci-fi and fantasy illustration, a predominantly male pursuit.
